Torrents of water hit without warning, destroying homes, campsites, and roads. Survivors described the chaos as “a wall of water” tearing through everything in its path.

Emergency teams continue to search through debris and flood zones, hoping to find the missing. Helicopters, boats, and drones are being used as time runs out.
